Year 2023 marked our inaugural collaboration with Cape Charles Baptist Church Splash Camp. We collaborate to host their campers with an afternoon of sailing throughout the summer.

Additionally, thanks to sponsorship from Nauticus Foundation, these sailors participated in an afternoon education sail aboard 122ft Schooner Virginia.

CCYC provides two scholarships for students to attend summer sailing camp. They have supported the sailing camp since its inception. We parter with the CCYC to offer adult sailing lesson throughout the year. New in 2026, Hannah has taken the role as Commodore of the club to support events and community partnerships.

Windsong is a 47ft traditionally rigged schooner which offers sunset sails in Cape Charles. We partner with her to run a unique education camps.

This 122ft traditionally rigged pilot schooner owned by the City of Norfolk visits Cape Charles throughout the year to offer sunset sails to the public and education tours to kids and adults.

Collaboration with ODU Sailing Team in 2021 brought over 2 dozen sailors out on the Chesapeake Bay to learn techniques of racing before our annual Summer Regatta. 

New in 2026, CCCS partnered with YMCA Camp Silver beach to lead a training course for sailing instructors as they prepared for their summer sailing season.
