    Junior Sailing Camp

    Ideal for beginners, intermediate sailors, or those who have attending sailing camp before. Beginner and Intermediate weeks will focus on safety, capsize drills, sailboat terminology, recognizing wind direction, sailing a course, and learning knots. Advanced sailing camp will incorporate single-hand sailing, Bay sailing, and will include small and big boat sailing.

    Counselor in Training

    NEW for 2025! This is for students, aged 14-15, who have participated in at least 2 years of advanced sailing camp and are interested in moving toward an assistant sailing instructor or volunteer role. Open for Level 1 and Level 2 weeks only and there is limited space available per session!

    Summer Regatta

    At the end of each season, we host an annual Summer Regatta on the 1st Saturday of August. While this event is tailored to our summer camp students, we welcome others to join! Sailing camp students can reserve one of the camp sunfish to use during the regatta or bring your own. We will have light refreshments for an after the event celebration and awards.

    Adult Learn to Sail

    What should we know about the services you provide? Better descriptions result in more sales.Adult sailing is split into a small boat sailing course and big-boat course. Small boat will introduce adults to sailing and is based off US Sailing Level 1. Adult big boat course is limited to 4 students who will be learning on the same boat. Intermediate courses are also available to help build on previous sailing skills.

    Women on the Water

    The third Monday of the month, June through August, start your week off with an evening all-women’s sail. All levels are welcome. We have multiple sized boats for each to choose their adventure. you can choose to have the potential to get wet on one of our Sunfish or stay dry in our larger boats. Our goal is to have fun, get out on the water, and maybe learn something new.

    Race Night/Open Sailing

    Come out get more time on the water and join a beginner race night in our Sunfish or Flying Scots. Must have experience sailing and able to rig your own boat. If you have not taken a sailing course with us, be prepared for a check-out sail (including rigging, docking under sail, tack/gybe, ability to maneuver a course).

    Private and Group Sailing Lessons

    Want to learn to sail, but not sure where to start? We offer private and semi-private sailing lessons to youth and adults. This is hands-on learning where we meet you where you are at and work to get you out on the water. Great family or friends outing!

    Community Programs

    We work alongside local organizations such as Cape Charles Baptist Splash Camp, Cape Charles Yacht Club, Rotary Club, Schooner Windsong, Schooner Virginia, and others to provide more sailing opportunities on our local waters.
